Program cover inscribed and signed: "To John/All the best/from/Sheila/MacRae", 4 pages in total, 6¼x9. Phoenix, Arizona, circa 1964. Program for the musical, Guys and Dolls, starring Gordon and Sheila MacRae, at the Phoenix Star Theatre. Photograph, b/w, 3¾x4½, on front cover. Sheila MacRae portrayed Miss Adelaide and her husband, Gordon MacRae, was Sky Masterson in this production, which also starred Cliff Norton as Nathan Detroit. Sheila MacRae (1924-2014) was a multitalented stage, screen and television actress, producer, nightclub entertainer and impressionist and author. She appeared in a number of films, beginning with Backfire in 1950, and has been seen on the small screen in made-for-TV movies, series and soaps. In 1971, she co-hosted The Sheila MacRae Show with daughters Meredith and Heather, whose father was singer and actor Gordon MacRae (1921-1986). The MacRaes were wed from 1941-1967. Slightly creased. Lightly soiled at upper margin of front cover, light red stains at lower right margin of front cover and lower left margin of back cover. Corners slightly worn and creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
