Caroline McWilliams (1945-2010) enjoyed a long career in entertainment, most known for her role as Marcy Hill on TV's Benson(1979-1981). Making her on-screen debut on Guiding Light (1952), McWilliams later appeared in Another World (1964), Dundee and the Culhane (1967) and Soap (1978-1979). In 1970 she made her premier on Broadway in The Rothschilds(1970-1972), followed by Cat on a Hot Tin Roof(1974-1975) and Boccaccio (1975). Throughout the remainder of her career, McWilliams guest starred in numerous television shows, making her final screen appearances in Judging Amy in 2003. John A. Willis (1916-2010), active in Theatre World from the beginning, became its chief editor in 1965, holding that position until 2008. Willis is regarded as one of the foremost theatre and film historians of the 20th century. While producing (and presenting) the annual Theatre World Awards, Willis also served on the nominating committee for the Tony Awards. Theatre World, which received its own Tony for Excellence in Theatre in 2001, continues under chief editor Ben Hodges.
