Biography
Catherine Craig (1915-2004), born to American parents in Santiago, Chile, was married to actor Robert Preston from 1940 until his death in 1987. The same year she married Preston, she appeared in her first film, the Boris Karloff vehicle Doomed to Die. She played small roles until 1947, when she received more prominent parts in Seven Were Saved and The Pretender, followed by Albuquerque in 1948. She fell short of stardom, however, and retired from the screen in 1950.
