Charley Pride (born in 1938) was RCA's bestselling artist after Elvis Presley. The Grammy Award-winner, who had 36 No. 1 hits and 26 U.S. gold albums (30 gold and four platinum internationally), ranks in the top 15 of all-time country record sellers. Ben Peters (1933-2005) was born in Greenville, Mississippi. A country singer and songwriter, he wrote several #1 hits including "Kiss An Angel Good Mornin'" (Charley Pride), "Turn The World Around" (Eddy Arnold), "It's Gonna Take a Little Bit Longer" (Charlie Pride), "Love Put a Song in My Heart" (Johnny Rodriguez), "Daytime Friends" (Kenny Rogers) and "You're So Good When You're Bad" (Charley Pride). "Kiss An Angel Good Mornin'" won the 1973 Grammy Award for Best Country Song.
