Clarence Edward Le Massena was a writer, composer and musicologist who knew Galli-Curci very well and devoted many years in research and compilation of the voluminous data covering her thirty years of public ministration. In her book Galli-Curci's Life of Song, she brought to light many little-known facts and plenty of high spots long forgotten along with several anecdotes, personal traits and trends.
