Dennis Patrick Leonard, born on May 8, 1951, in Brooklyn, New York, is a retired American professional baseball pitcher known for his career with the Kansas City Royals in Major League Baseball (MLB). Leonard attended Oceanside High School on Long Island and later played college baseball at Iona College. He was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the second round of the 1972 MLB Draft.
