Biography
JOSEPH BULOFF (1899-1985), born in Russia, started his American acting career in the 1930s in shorts and on Broadway. After appearing on stage in Call Me Ziggy (1937), The Man from Cairo (1938), and Morning Star (1940), Buloff made his feature film debut in Let's Make Music (1941). His later films include The Loves of Carmen (1948), Silk Stockings (1957), and the Oscar-winning Paul Newman classic Somebody Up There Likes Me (1956).
