Biography
Lynda Bellingham (1948-2014), was a British TV actress and screen personality who first starred as a nurse on the British version of General Hospital in the 1970s. Many more TV roles followed, including veterinarian's wife Helen Herriot on All Creatures Great and Small. She was featured as the Inquisitor in the Doctor Who series Trial of the Time Lord and in an audio series. She played Tsarina Alexandra in The Romanovs (1998). She has been featured on the ITV talk shows Loose Women, My Tasty Travels and Country House Sunday. She was featured on Strictly Come Dancing in 2009, eliminated in the fourth week. Her recent stage appearances include Vincent River, Calendar Girls and Cinderella.
