Biography
Actress Mary Tyler Moore (1936-2017) starred in two of television's most successful comedies: The Dick Van Dyke Show (1961-1966) and The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970-1977). She won six Emmys during her career, five of which were for one of those two shows. Other awards include three Golden Globes and two Tony Awards. She primarily kept to television even towards the end of her career (most recently making guest appearances on Hot in Cleveland), but film credits include Thoroughly Modern Millie (1967) Ordinary People (1980). Moore is considered one of the best female comedic actresses ever.
