Maude Lillian Berri, sometimes referred to as "Maud" or "Lillian", was an actress who performed on stage all over the country. She married stage and screen actor Frank Moulan in 1902, divorcing him eight years later. Her Broadway credits include The Sultan of Sulu (1902-1903) and The Grand Mogul (1907). She performed on stage with various theatrical productions in San Francisco, California, and St. Louis, Missouri, most notably with Kolb & Dill.In 1910, she inherited millions of dollars after the death of her father Fulton G. Berry.
