Nina Foch (1924-2008) trained as a classical pianist before turning to acting. With prominent roles in films for over 50 years, from Return of the Vampire (1943) to Hush (1998), Foch got her Academy Award nomination (for Best Supporting Actress) early (Executive Suite, 1954). A respected drama coach, she made dozens of guest appearances on TV dramas over half a century.
