Wimpole Street (London), May 13, n. y. On personal letterhead to "Dear
Madam", in full: "I much regret that my hours for consultation
this week are filled up till Saturday for which day I enclose an app. Yours
faithfully". Sir Thomas Barlow (1845-1945) was Royal Physician to Queen
Victoria, attending at her death, and to Kings Edward VII and
George V. Made a Baronet in 1902, he was President of the Royal College of
Physicians from 1910 to 1914. Lightly toned with two horizontal mailing folds.
Otherwise, fine condition.
