The Academy Award winning actress signs an agreement with Henry Souvaine, Inc. to perform on "The Road Ahead" a radio program broadcast for hospitalized war veterans.

Anne Baxter signs an agreement with Henry Souvaine, Incorporated to appear on the radio broadcast "The Road Ahead" on May 23, 1945. She agrees to appear for the broadcast at England General Hospital in Atlantic City, New Jersey no later than 2 P.M. on said date and that her name and photograph may be used to promote the program. A sum of $1,500.00 dollars will be paid to her representatives, Music Corporation of America, to cover all expenses she has in connection with her appearance. On "The Road Ahead", a public service radio program, famous actors and musicians performed for hospitalized war veterans. Anne Baxter was broadcast on the show with Clifton Fadiman and Cary Grant on May 23, 1945. Anne Baxter (1923-1985) won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for The Razor's Edge (1946) and was nominated for the Best Actress Oscar for All About Eve (1950). Among her many film roles were Queen Nerfertiti in The Ten Commandments (1956), and Baxter's TV work includes a starring role in the TV series Hotel (1983-1986). Baxter was the granddaughter of renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Normal mailing folds. Two filing holes at top edge. Lightly creased. Multiple staple holes at top left corner.
