Broadway successes were Daddy Long Legs, Lilies of the Field and

her base in New York - choosing to go back and forth to Hollywood. A few of her
highly noted films are: Libeled Lady (1936), Personal Property
(1937), Madam X (1937), Dark Victory (1939) and The Bank
Dick (1940) with W.C. Fields as his henpecking wife - perhaps her most
memorable role. Witherspoon made a few television appearances in the early
1950s: "Fireside Theatre", "Kraft Television Theatre" and "Studio One.Lightly toned. Corners and edges lightly worn and creased. Otherwise, fine
