Printed Card signed in Ink: “Donald/ Hamilton” in black ink, 5x3. Ornate printed design featured on card. Donald Hamilton (1916-2006) is a novelist who primarily produced spy fiction, but also wrote the occasional crime fiction book or Western. He began submitting his fiction to Collier's Weekly and The Saturday Evening Post in 1946. Primarily known for the Matt Helm series that spanned over three decades, Hamilton wrote a total of 27 books about the namesake spy with the first work published in 1963 and the final book coming out in 1993. Pronounced smudging at “ilt” of Hamilton. Lightly toned. Otherwise, fine condition.
