Broadway chorus dancer before debuting in films (While New York Sleeps,
1920). She appeared in the silents The Ten Commandments (as Miriam, 1923)
and gave a wry performance of Lucrezia Borgia in 1926's Don Juan before
moving easily to "talkies". Taylor starred in such feature films as
Cimarron (1931) and Call Her Savage (1932) before retiring in the
1930s. The actress, who also made news as the wife (1925-1931) of boxing champ
Jack Dempsey, made her last film appearance in 1945 in The Southerner.
MOORE was an actress who appeared in an episode of Make Room for
Daddy in 1953. SHERIN (1909-1981, born Leo Sherin in New York City)
was an American actor, writer, pianist and singer. He has acting credits in four
movies and writing credits in two others, including the horror/comedy movie
Bela Lugosi Meets a Brooklyn Gorilla (1952). Sherin also wrote for and
performed on Bing Crosby's Kraft Music Hall (1943-1944) and was a friend
of Jack Ruby, who shot Lee Harvey Oswald after the assassination of President
John F. Kennedy. Lightly toned and creased. All signatures have light
show-through or impressions on opposite side of page. Adhesive residue near
photo of Taylor. Page has been lightly discolored by adhesive on photos and from
photos on other pages. Page has been neatly torn from an album or pad. Otherwise
in fine condition.
