The Grand Ole Opry star and country music legend signed this black and white

Printed Photograph Signed: "Best Wishes/ Jack Greene" in ink. B/w. 8x10. Actual image
6¾x8½ with a white border (one surface). Name printed along bottom. Jack Greene(1930-2013) was a country musician who won many awards over the course of
his decades-long career. His debut album There Goes My Everything (1966)
rocketed to #1 on the U.S. Country Top 100 chart and reached the U.S.
Billboard 100 as well. Of the sixteen albums he released from 1966 to 1980,
only two failed to break into the U.S. Country Top 100 chart. In 1967, he
earned four awards that put him in the upper echelon of country singers: he
became a member of the Grand Ole Opry, and he won Single of the Year, Male
Vocalist of the Year, and Album of the Year from the Country Music
Association. The song "There Goes My Everything" was #1 on the Billboard
charts for seven weeks and the album of the same title topped the charts for
four weeks. Greene, who had started his career as a drummer with the
Peachtree Cowboys and Ernest Tubb's Texas Troubador Band, followed his
1967 success with a number of other hits, including "All The Time", "What
Locks the Door?", "You Are My Treasure", "Lord, Is That Me?", and "Statue
of a Fool" (all number one hits) as well as two #1 albums. Later in his career,
Greene, who was called "the Garth Brooks of his era", sang and recorded with his
wife, Jeannie Seeley. At age 80, Greene, who still performed at the Grand Ole
Opry, released a new compilation album titled Precious Memories, Treasured
Friends. The album consists of duets her performed with Seeley, George
Jones, Merle Haggard, Little Jimmy Dickens, and many other country music
greats. He did not retire from performing until 2011, just two years before
his death. Ink bleeds through to back. Otherwise, fine condition.
