Autograph Note signed: To Lewis/My Sincere/Good Wishes/Jean/Carson, 6x5¼ album leaf. In 1948, Jean Carson (1925-2005) debuted on Broadway in George S. Kaufman's Bravo, winning the 1949 Theatre World award. Other highlights for Jean on Broadway in the next decade were Anniversary Waltz, Kaufman's Metropole, Two Blind Miceand Bird Cage. In the 1950's and 1960's, she appeared on The Red Buttons Show (as a regular), I Witness, The Ford Theater Hour, The Trap, Ellery Queen, The Glass Key, The G.E. Theater, Philco Television Playhouse, The 20th Century Fox Hour, Your Lucky Strike Theater, The Betty Hutton Show (as a regular), The Tom Ewell Show, Wagon Train, Sugarfoot, The Untouchables, Dante, and the classic Twilight Zone episode titled "A Most Unusual Camera". She was Daphne, one of the "fun girls" who besiege Andy and Barney on three episodes of The Andy Griffith Show (1962, 1964, 1965). Her films include: ThePhenix City Story (1955), I Married a Monster from Outer Space (1958), One Man's Way (1964), Blake Edwards' Gunn (1967), Warning Shot (1967), The Party (1968) and Fun with Dick and Jane (1977). Lightly creased. Faded at blank right edge, irregular left edge from removal from bound book. Overall, fine condition.
