Document signed "Lacey Jones", "Gloria Ann Brady" and, on note, "Gloria Brady (Lacey Jones)", allin blue ink. Blue and purple ink notations in unknown hand. 2 pages, 5¾x8½, 1 sheet, front and verso. With 6¼x3¼ initiation fee receipt carbon copy with perforated left edge and 1-page, 5½x7 typed note stapled at top edge. Oct. 1, 1963. Membership form for the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. According to this document, Lacey was a guitarist and actress who was scheduled to appear in a 1963 episode of The Jack Barry Show. Jack Barry hosted The Jack Barry Show on Los Angeles' KTLA during the 1960s. It was a popular variety show in the Los Angeles area that featured celebrities promoting local appearances. The Jack Barry Show ran for three years and was even syndicated at one point. You may know Barry better from his role in the quiz show scandals of the 1950s, especially on the notorious game show Twenty One. Lightly toned and creased. Receipt has light tear at top edge and carbon copy marks and was folded once and unfolded. Otherwise in fine condition.
