Contract signed "Nigel MCKeand" as Performer and by a representative of Selmur Productions, Inc., both in blue ink. 2 pages, 8¼x13½, 1 sheet, front and verso, binder holes along left edge. May 11, 1965. According to this contract, McKeand was to be a stand-in for Roy Thinnes in case Thinnes was called into court during shooting of the May 11, 1965 episode. McKeand was to receive $10 per hour. McKeand has received three shared Emmy Award nominations - two as a producer of Family (1977 and 1978) and one for co-writing the movie Alex: The Life of a Child (1986). McKeand's been a producer on the TV series Family (1976-1979), The Family Tree (1983) and Under One Roof (1995) and on Alex: The Life of a Child and has writing credits on eight TV movies and series between 1969 and 1998, including Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (1973) and several episodes of The Waltons (1972-1974). He's also appeared in small roles on a few TV shows, including the voice of a monster on Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. Lightly toned and creased. Light dent at top edge. Folded once and unfolded. Otherwise in fine condition.
