The singing actress rocks a sexy snake skin suit and leather boots in this black and white photo.
Photograph signed: "Best Wishes/Rosalind Cash", in black ink. B/w, 8x10 overall, image 6½x9¼ (one surface). Stage, screen and television actress Rosalind Cash (1938-1995) was nominated for an Emmy Award for the PBS production, Go Tell It on the Mountain, in 1985. Known for her trademark dreadlocks, Cash had made her Broadway debut in 1966 and her film debut in 1971. Her film credits include Klute (1971), The Omega Man (1971), The New Centurions (1972), Uptown Saturday Night (1974) and Tales from the Hood (1995). Cash is best known for her television work, however. She starred in a number of made-for-TV movies, including such productions as Guyana Tragedy: The Story of Jim Jones (1980) and King Lear (1984), and she is known for her role as Mary Mae Ward (1994-1995) on the daytime soap, General Hospital. Cash's TV credits also include guest appearances on a number of TV series, including Barney Miller, Police Story, Kojak, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, China Beach, thirtysomething, Cagney & Lacey and Hill Street Blues. One of the original members of the Negro Ensemble Company founded in 1968, Cash was posthumously honored an Emmy award for her performance on General Hospital. Fine condition.
