Biography
Actress and stuntwoman EVELYN FINLEY (1916-1989) made her film debut in 1940 in Arizona Frontier, and she would appear in several Westerns through 1956 (Perils of the Wilderness). Finley, who had begun her career as a stuntwoman (The Texas Rangers, 1936), worked in that capacity through 1955, when she made Blood Alley. She returned to films as a stuntwoman in 1960 in Swiss Family Robinson, and Finley did stunts for two other films, Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte (1960) and Silverado (1985), before permanently retiring.
