She rose to fame in 2000 on the British ITV show Popstars, which was looking for contestants to form a new pop band, during which she was chosen to be part of the band Hear'Say, which would go on to be one of the most successful pop bands in UK history, releasing a highly successful album and having their on television show Hear'Say It's Saturday!. She would go on to perform on London's West End in Summer Holiday which was well-received and highly acclaimed, leading to many more West End performances. She has appeared on numerous television dramas and reality shows, most notably appearing in the soap opera Emmerdale (2010), and winning the third series of the ITV skating show Dancing on Ice (2008), and participated in the "All-Star" series in 2014.
