Photograph signed: "Gregory Peck", "Joan Bennett", in black felt tip, B/w 10¼x8. JOAN BENNETT (1910-1990), the daughter of stage actor Richard Bennett and sister of screen actresses Constance and Barbara Bennett, starred in over 40 films, including Bulldog Drummond (1929), Little Women (1933), Father of the Bride (1950) and We're No Angels (1955). Active on the stage in the 1960s, she also starred in the TV series Dark Shadows (1966-1971) and appeared in a number of made-for-television movies. Nominated for five Academy Awards for Best Actor, GREGORY PECK (1916-2003) won the 1963 Oscar for the role of Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird. He received nominations in 1946 for portraying Father Francis Chisholm in The Keys of the Kingdom, in 1947 for the role of Pa Baxter in The Yearling, 1948 for playing Phil Green in Gentleman's Agreement and 1950 for the role of Brigadier General Frank in Twelve O'Clock High. He won the American Film Institute's Lifetime Achievement Award in 1989. Corners worn and heavily creased. Pin holes in top left corner. Toned. Soiled. Light surface creases throughout. Ink stamp on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
