In full: "I'll share the sorrow of a friend/with love I'll clasp his
hand/For sympathy doth make life blend/and helps us understand". Amsbary
(1867-1954) was an educator, lecturer and poet. Among his works was The
Ballads of Bourbonnais, a book of long poems. Lightly toned, especially
around edges and stained. Adhesive residue on verso (no show-through). Leaf has
been torn neatly from album on left. Otherwise in fine
condition.
