Dale Kushner (b. 1966) is a Canadian former professional hockey winger who played in the National Hockey League with the New York Islanders and Philadelphia Flyers. Kushner played junior hockey with the Prince Albert Raiders, Moose Jaw Warriors, and Medicine Hat Tigers. His most notable junior season came with Medicine Hat in 1986-87. The Tigers won the 1987 Memorial Cup, defeating the Oshawa Generals in the championship game, and Kushner was selected as a forward on the Memorial Cup All-Star Team. Undrafted by an NHL team, Kushner began his professional career in 1987. He spent three seasons with the Springfield Indians of the American Hockey League, recording 32 goals and 42 assists in 158 regular-season games. He made his NHL debut with the New York Islanders during the 1989-90 season, appearing in two games. Kushner joined the Philadelphia Flyers for 1990-91 and received his most extensive NHL playing time. He appeared in 63 games, recording 7 goals and 11 assists for 18 points while accumulating 195 penalty minutes. On February 10, 1991, against Washington, he accumulated 50 penalty minutes in a single game. Kushner returned to Philadelphia in 1991-92, scoring 3 goals and adding 2 assists in 19 games. His NHL career consisted of 84 regular-season games, in which he recorded 10 goals and 13 assists for 23 points, along with 215 penalty minutes. Toned. Pencil notes (unknown hand) on verso.
