Collection Comprises: 1.) Vintage Photograph signed: "Your Amigo / Duncan Renaldo / Cisco Kid". B/w, 8x10. Light surface crease at upper left background. Fine condition. 2.) Vintage Photograph inscribed and signed: "To Dear / Jimmy My / Amigo / Leo Carrillo / Pancho". B/w, 8x10. Light surface creases at right background. ¾- and 1-inch tears at lower edge, light paper loss at belt. Overall, fine condition. Each photograph was taken by J.A. Dodd of Texas.

Duncan Renaldo (1904-1980) played the "Cisco Kid" which was a character based on O. Henry's Heart of the West book of Western short stories published in 1907. The Cisco Kid was originally televised from 1950-1955. Because the episodes were filmed in color, The Cisco Kid was seen in reruns into the 1970s. In the eyes of the law, The Cisco Kid and his sidekick, Pancho, played by Leo Carrillo (1880-1961), were desperadoes. In the eyes of those they helped when lawmen would not or could not help, they were heroes.
