show business as a young circus acrobat. He worked his way up the ladder in Hollywood
Westerns from extra to stunt man to supporting actor, reaching stardom on television as
The Lone Ranger from 1949-1952 and 1954-1957. Thereafter he made a good living from
commercials and public appearances as The Lone Ranger, the role for which he is best, and
fondly, remembered. Katharine "Kay" Aldridge (1917-1995), as a model, was seen on the
magazine covers of Life, Ladies' Home Journal, Redbook,andLookin the 1930s. Aldridge
was best known for playing feisty heroines in the 1940s Republic Pictures serials Perils of
Nyoka (1942), Daredevils of the West (1943), and Haunted Harbor (1944) before she
retired in 1945. Fine condition.
