ROOSTER COGBURN MOVIE CAST: JOHN "DUKE" WAYNE and KATHARINE HEPBURN Signed black and white publicity photograph for the 1975 western Rooster Cogburn featuring the two actors in costume Inscribed photograph signed "Bob/It's been great/Duke" and "Bob Nelson/gratefully/Katharine Hepburn". B/w, 8x10 overall, 7½x9½ image, one surface. "Bob Nelson" was a set decorator for the film. Rooster Cogburn - the sequel to the 1969 Wayne movie True Grit - was the first and last film Wayne and Katharine Hepburn appeared in a movie together. In 1975's Rooster Cogburn, Wayne reprised his Oscar-winning role as the drunken, hellraising marshal Rooster Cogburn from 1969's True Grit. Wayne co-starred with Katharine Hepburn, who played the daughter of a murdered minister and who insists on following Wayne as he hunts his killer.
