The talented character actor pens a letter agreeing to send an item to the founder of the Gallery of History, Inc.
Autograph Letter signed: "Dennis Fimple", in blue ink, 1p, 5¾x7¾ on green stationery, To: "Mr. Axelrod". In full: "I will be happy to comply with your request - re.; Museum. As soon as I decide what to send - it'll be there./ Thank You- [signature]/ P.O. Box 877/ Frazier Park,/ CA/ 93225/ ph. # 805-245-1576". Dennis Fimple (1940-2002) was a character actor best known for playing Kyle Murty on the comedic Western TV program Alias Smith and Jones (1971-1973). After earning a teaching credential from San Jose College, Fimple began working in a Cheetos factory during the day, while pursuing an acting career at night. He continued moonlighting as an actor after moving to Hollywood. His first role of note was a guest appearance on the TV show Petticoat Junction (1963-1970). Fimple also nabbed guest spots many popular TV shows including M.A.S.H. (1972-1983), The Rockford Files (1974-1980), Quantum Leap (1989-1993), and The Incredible Hulk (1978-1982). A few of the movies he has appeared in include Truck Stop Women (1974), Bootleggers (1974), and Creature from Black Lake (1976). His final credited appearance was in Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses (2003). Normal mailing folds. Small nick at left edge. Otherwise, fine condition.
