Stage, screen and television actress DIANE KEATON (1946-2025), born Diane Hall, gained fame in a series of Woody Allen comedies, winning an Academy Award for Best Actress in his ambitious work, Annie Hall (1977). Here she is shown in one of Allen's first serious dramatic films, Interiors. She has been nominated for the coveted Best Actress Oscar three additional times for Reds (1981), Marvin's Room (1996), and Something's Gotta Give (2003). Some of her other notable film roles include Kay Adams Corleone Mitchelson, the wife and ex-wife of mobster Michael Corleone, in The Godfather (1972) and its sequel, The Godfather II (1974). Keaton, who was an original cast member of the Broadway musical, Hair (1968), was nominated for the 1969 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play for Play It Again, Sam. She has also made appearances in made-for-TV movies, guest starred on several shows, and has directed both TV series and feature films, her first being Unstrung Heroes (1995). A versatile actress who appeared on stage, film, and TV, Mary Beth Hurt (b. 1946), born Mary Supinger, was married to actor William Hurt for ten years, and then remarried film writer/director Paul Schrader, with whom she had two children. A few of her films include Interiors (1978), The World According to Garp (1983), Six Degrees of Separation (1993) and Bringing Out the Dead (1999). Hurt has received three Tony nominations. In addition, she won an Obie for her performance in Crimes of the Heart (1982). Slightly worn at top right corner. Lightly toned at edges. Otherwise, fine condition.
