A mid-season replacement for The Jerry Lewis Show, the show was headed by a rotating roster of star hosts, including Bing Crosby, Milton Berle, Jimmy Durante, Victor Borge, Phyllis Diller and George Burns and featured a kaleidoscopic array of acts, including comedians, ventriloquists, animal acts and magicians. The Hollywood Palace also featured plenty of musical acts, including some of the earliest American TV appearances of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.
