Typed letter signed: "John McGiver", in black ink, 8½x11. Character actor John McGiver (1913-1975) had major roles in such films as Love in the Afternoon (1957), The Gazebo (1959), The Glass Bottom Boat (1966) and Midnight Cowboy (1969). He appeared often on TV, his versatility demonstrated by two appearances each on Gilligan's Island and The Twilight Zone. McGiver made the first of the "Do You Know Me?" TV commercials for American Express. Light surface creases. Lightly toned. Slightly soiled. Corners lightly worn and creased. Staple holes in top left corner. Otherwise, fine condition.
