Contract double signed: "Juliet Prowse" and "J.P." on rider. 2p, 8½x11 front and verso with 8½x4½ rider stapled to front. No place, 1960 November 28. Between Roncom Productions, Inc., New York, N.Y. and Prowse for an appearance on a telecast of the Perry Como Show, scheduled for December 7, with compensation to be $10,000. plus round-trip airfare. South African dancer and actress PROWSE (1936-1996, born in Bombay, India) made her film debut in Can Can (1960), getting a big career boost when Soviet dictator Nikita Khrushchev denounced her performance as immoral. A Las Vegas act, and much publicized relationships with Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra, followed. She starred in the TV series Mona McCluskey (1966) and hosted ballroom dance competitions on PBS, beginning in 1986. She completed a summer tour of Sugar Babies with Mickey Rooney shortly before her death. Lower edge of rider trimmed unevenly. Lightly soiled. Paperclip crease at upper left margin. Staple holes and 1" notch at upper left corner. Otherwise, fine condition.
