Photograph inscribed and signed: "To Claude Wallace/Cordially, Marsha Hunt". B/w, 3½x5½.
Addressed in her hand on verso to "Claude B. Wallace/916 West 2nd/Fort Worth, Texas/76102", postmarked Van Nuys, California, [day illegible], 1982. She has also written "#2". Marsha Hunt (1917-2022) worked as a Powers model until she debuted onscreen in The Virginia Judge (1935). In the 1930s, she appeared in supporting roles in films including Hollywood Boulevard and These Glamour Girls (1939), before moving on to leads in B-movies and supporting roles in major films. She also appeared in 6 Broadway shows. Blacklisted during the McCarthy era, she appeared in only a handful of films after 1952, but was seen in the TV series Peck's Bad Girl. Her last film was Johnny Got His Gun (1971). She appeared in an episode of Star Trek: the Next Genertion in 1988. Hunt continues to speak out on political and social issues, including homelessness, world hunger and civil liberties. Corners lightly worn. Ink stamp on face (not effecting signature). Otherwise, fine condition.
