Army veteran of the Korean War, character actor Bartold (1928-1994) is probably best remembered as Skip Hollings from Mr. Belvedere (1986-1990). He also had recurring roles as District Attorney Donahue on Adam's Rib (1973), Mr. Hildebrand on Laverne & Shirley (1980-1982) and Judge Holder on Falcon Crest (1985).
