British actor ROBERTSON HARE (1891-1979) appeared on stage and in films for over fifty years, but is well remembered for his role as The Archdeacon, The Venerable Henry Blunt in the television series All Gas and Gaiters (1966-1971). His films credits include Turkey Time (1933), A Cup of Kindness (1934), Banana Ridge (1942), My Wife's Family (1956) and Salt and Pepper (1968). Actor ANTHONY MARLOWE (1913-1975) became best known for his work on television and film, making his first credited debut as a singer in The Great Commandment (1939). He had 23 credits to his career, including a recurring role as Geoffrey Stock in the series Ghost Squad. Marlowe also appeared in several stage productions in London, with roles in Billy Budd (1951), The Moment of Truth (1952), and The Last Hero (1957). Actress FRANCES CLARE (1904-1994) was the first wife to actor Esmond Knight, with the couple meeting while acting in the play Yellow Sands. She had very few acting roles outside of the theatre world, appearing in only three films: Panic at Madame Tussaud's (1948), Gone to Earth (1950), and The Wild Heart (1952).
