RONALD J. KAHN
A letter from the producer to the Fitzroy Films Vice President, saying he is very excited to begin work on a new film, most likely the horror flick Girly
Typed letter signed: "Ronny", in blue ink, 1 page, 8¼x11¾. February 7, 1969. Hollywood, California. In part: "Dear Bob: I thought I should take this opportunity to acquaint you with a new venture I am about to embark upon. I recently had the good fortune to come across a script which intrigued me so much that I have decided not only to produce the film but to finance it 100% from our own resources. The production will commence on February 24th. It will be shot in colour, of course, with 100% locations". The film likely discussed here is Girly, which was the only film Kahn produced between 1969 and 1986. Ronald J. Kahn was a film producer and television producer, first beginning as an assistant in 1963 for The Human Jungle. He made his producing debut in Seaside Swingers (1965), and went on to work in several more productions, including Prudence and the Pill (1968), The Lawrenceville Stories (1986), and A Child's Cry for Help (1994). Corners worn and creased. Surface creases. Toned. Lightly soiled. Normal mailing folds. Signature haloed, but legible. Ink stamps. Paper clip crease on top margin. Faint stains across. Otherwise, fine condition.
