Actor William Collier, Jr. (1902-1987) began on stage and in silent films, earning his first on screen role at the age of 14 in The Bugle Call (1916). He went on to appear in over 80 films, including Eve's Secret (1925), The Show of Shows (1929) and The Phantom Express (1932). After he filmed Dancers in the Dark in 1932, Collier, Jr. retired from acting, officially in 1935, but he continued to pursue film as a director and producer. He is the son of actress Paula Marr, who married actor William Collier Sr. after she divorced Collier Jr.'s biological father. Collier Jr., who was born Charles F. Gall, Jr., was renamed after their marriage. Multiple mailing folds. Creased and toned. Edges and corners worn with small nicks and tears. Otherwise, fine condition.
