Document Signed: "Kitty Malone", 2 pages, 6½x9, 1 sheet (front and verso). With 6½x3¼ initiation fee receipt no. 275683 carbon copy stapled at top edge. Place: Hollywood, California. Date: May 1, 1957. Application for membership in the American Federation of Television and Radio Actors, Los Angeles local. She cites an appearance on "Climax" [Mystery Theater] on that date. Kitty Vevaann Malone (b. 1933) is an American dancer and actress who graduated from North Side High School. Her early career was as a dancer and owner of the Kitty Malone School of Dance in Fort Worth, Texas. As an actress, she is known for her work on Rawhide in Damon’s Road Iand II (1964) as part of the Kumquats (dancers), Good Morning World (1967), Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep as Agnes, Ironside(1968), Perfect Crime as attractive girl, The Virginian (1969), A Love to Remember as Sophia(trapeze artist), and two Doris Day Shows (1970-1971) as Candy Stripper and Souvenir Girl. She also worked with Bob Fosse on Cabaret (1978) and meticulously recreated every single step and movement of Joel Grey and Liza Minnelli; Taylor and Malone spent days in a soundstage pool executing the Foley for The Deep (1977), which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Sound. She has lived for many years in Los Angeles, California. Ink notes (unknown hand). Lightly creased and soiled at edges and corners. Receipt has small tear holes at upper left section.
