Perhaps best known for his role as Lieutenant Bill Crowley in the weekly series Police Woman (1974-1978), actor EARL HOLLIMAN (1928-2024) turned in impressive work on many live TV anthologies during the 1950s. His performance as a shipwrecked Marine in a 1958 Kraft Theatre production led to his being cast in Twilight Zone's pilot episode, "Where is Everybody?" (1959). Holliman has also starred in a number of films, including The Rainmaker (1956), which earned him a Golden Globe, and Sons of Katie Elder (1965), which also starred John Wayne. One of America's most popular singers from the end of WWII until the rise of rock and roll, PERRY COMO (1912-2001) starred in radio and television musical variety shows bearing his name from 1948-1963, earning four Emmys for his television series and specials. Como released at least eight albums of Christmas music over half a century (1953-2002). His songs include: "It's Impossible", "Don't Let the Stars Get in Your Eyes", "Till the End of Time", "Prisoner of Love", "A Hubba-Hubba-Hubba (Dig You Later)", "Temptation", "And I Love You So", "Because", "Catch a Falling Star", "Hot Diggity (Dog Ziggity Boom)" When You Were Sweet Sixteen" and "No Other Love". The note is inscribed to radio/TV interview host George Sanders, who collected autographs from guests on his shows. Chipped at left blank edge from removal from bound book. Signature on verso (show through). Fine condition.
