"Once in Love With Amy" was another song from the play's score, which also included "Lovelier Than Ever", "At the Red Rose Cotillion", "Pernambuco", "Where's Charley?" and "The Years Before Us". Where's Charley?, which starred Bolger in the title role of Charley Wykeham, ran from October 11,1948-September 9, 1950 at the St. James Theatre on Broadway. Bolger, who won the 1949 Tony Award for Best Actor (Musical), later reprised his role in the 1952 film of the same name. Dancer and actor Ray Bolger (1904-1987) began his dancing career on vaudeville and then moved to Broadway in musicals such as On Your Toes as well as his best-remembered role in Where's Charley? Bolger will always be remembered and loved as the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz (1939). After hosting his own TV variety show in the early 1950s, he was a frequent and popular guest on TV shows through the 1970s. Lightly creased, worn at edges. Nicked at upper blank edge and ¼-inch tear at lower blank edge at mid-vertical fold. Slightly soiled on inside pages and back cover. Stamped at lower margin.
