Signed move still from the move Bullitt. Photograph inscribed and signed: "To/Kevin/Best Wishes/Steve McQueen". B/w, 8x10. Still from the 1968 film, Bullitt. Steve McQueen (1930-1980) played a police detective in the film, portraying him in the stunt-driving role typical of his anti-hero image. McQueen had his first starring film role in The Blob (1958), the same year he began a three-year run as a moody bounty hunter in TV's Wanted: Dead or Alive. McQueen was nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for The Sand Pebbles (1966). Among his many other movie hits were The Magnificent Seven (1960), The Great Escape (1963), The Cincinnati Kid (1965) and Papillon (1973). He was married to actress Ali MacGraw from 1973-1977. Writing light but legible. Fine condition. Framed to an overall size of 15½ x 23¼. Frame exhibits wearing at corners.

FROM THE MINUTES OF THEIR FIRST MEETING ON JANUARY 18, 1950 TO THEIR DISSOLUTION MEETING ON MAY 21, 1953. The Amsterdam Exhibition Company, Inc. owned the Class C Minor League team, the Amsterdam Rugmakers of the Canadian-American League. The team was organized in 1938. Because of WWII, no games were played during the years 1943-1945 due to the lack of players. Resuming play in 1946, the New York Yankees bought the team after the 1949 season. From 1950-1951, the Amsterdam Rugmakers were the Yankees farm team in the Canadian-American League. When the league disbanded after the 1951 season, so did the team. The Yankees continued ownership, finally dissolving the corporation in 1953. Included is a stock certificate signed: "George M. Weiss" as President of the Amsterdam Exhibition Co. and "J. All in fine condition. Legendary golfer Arnold Palmer (1929-2016) won seven major championships during his career, including four Masters Tournament (1958, 1960, 1962, 1964). His 62 PGA Tour victories rank fifth all time, behind Ben Hogan, Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, and Sam Snead. Palmer was the first golfer to earn more than $1,000,000 in PGA tournament money.
