ISAIAH WASHINGTON (b. 1963) is an American actor best known for his role as the gifted cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Preston Burke in the television series Grey's Anatomy. For his part in the television series, Washington was nominated for, and received, multiple awards including Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series in 2006, and again in 2007. Unfortunately, in the third season of the show, Washington was released from his role due to a reported backstage controversy. After his release, he focused more on off-screen pursuits including many philanthropic causes. Recently, however, Washington has appeared in such titles as Area Q. (2011), and The Under Shepherd (2012). THERESA RANDLE (b. 1964), the American actress, has found roles on stage, on the big screen, and in television. She first began featuring in commercials, during her time at the Los Angeles Inner City Cultural Center. Her big screen debut came in 1987 when she performed as Doni in the film Maid to Order. Afterward, she found minor roles in productions such as Easy Wheels (1989) and Heart Condition (1990). With the production of Spike Lee's Girl 6, Randle found her first starring role alongside Isaiah Washington. Randle was nominated for an award for her role in the 1997 film Spawn. More recently, she signed on to replace a cast member on the hit television show Law & Order: Criminal Intent, but appeared in only two episodes. Fine condition.
