Document signed "Bronson Pinchot" twice in black ink and by a representative of George Schlatter Productions in red ink. Red ink notations in unknown hand. 3 pages, 8½x11, bound with 1 staple, photocopy. April 23, 1987. Addressed to Tortoise and Hare Prods., Inc. c/o The Brillstein Co., Los Angeles, California attn: Ms. Gigi Givertz. Pinchot signed this contract to confirm that he would appear as a presenter on the May 18, 1987 American Comedy Awards. His compensation for this appearance was detailed in "Exhibit A", not enclosed. Gangly American actor Pinchot, born Bronson Alcott Pinchot in 1959, studied at the Yale School of Drama before making his film debut in 1982. His big break was in Beverly Hills Cop (1984), where he had a bit role as an effete art gallery assistant. This role played an important part in landing him one of his most well-known roles, as fish-out-of-water Balki Bartokomous in the sitcom Perfect Strangers (1986-1993), which earned him an Emmy nomination. He has almost 70 movie and TV shows to his credit as of this biography, including an appearance as a homicidal businessman with father issues in the miniseries The Langoliers (1995) and recurring roles on Step by Step (1997) and The Young and the Restless (2008), as well as three appearances on Broadway. Lightly toned, stained and creased. Photocopy marks. Staple holes and tear in top left corner. Paper clip impressions near bottom edge. Otherwise in fine condition.
