Autograph sentiment signed "Very Best wishes/Christopher Cazenove". 6½x5¾, on Cazenove's personalized stationery. British actor Cazenove (1943-2010) specialized in playing aristocrats and international men of mystery. American audiences probably know him best as the scheming Ben Carrington from Dynasty (1986-1987). Cazenove also had notable roles on British television, including his breakout role as Lieutenant Richard Gaunt in The Regiment (1972-1973), George Cornwallis West in Jennie, Lady Randolph Churchill (1974), Charles Haslemere in The Duchess of Duke Street (1976-1977) and Row Colemore in Judge John Deed (2001-2003). His film roles include Eye of the Needle (1981), Mata Hari (1985) and Three Men and a Little Lady (1990). He also appeared on BBC Radio 4 and on stage, including a Broadway production of Goodbye Fidel (1980) and a stint as Professor Higgins in the National Theatre's award-winning 2005 production of My Fair Lady. In all, Cazenove appeared in over 60 movies and TV shows between 1970 and 2009. Lightly toned, stained and creased. Paper loss on front and show-through from mounting residue on verso touch signature. Adhesive residue at top edge. Light tear in right edge. Irregular left, right and bottom corners. Otherwise in fine condition.
