Syndicate Co., Inc., New York, New York. Begins: "Gentlemen". In
full: "In consideration of the publicity to be given to me and which may
arise herefrom, my consent is hereby irrevocably given to you, your assignees
and licensees, and to the Chicago Tribune-New York News Syndicate, Inc., and its
subscribers and licensees to use my name, picture, or portrait, in publications
for editorial or promotional purposes, excluding, however, commercial
advertising." At the time she signed this document, DeCamp was a regular
on the TV sitcom, Love That Bob (1955-1959). Actress Rosemary DeCamp
(1914-2001) debuted in radio dramas of the 1930s, moving into film roles in the
1940s and 1950s. Despite her youthful appearance, she was often cast as a
mother, including the mother of George M. Cohan in Yankee Doodle
Dandy (1942) and George Gershwin in Rhapsody in Blue (1945). DeCamp
was featured in several other TV sitcoms, including The Life of
Riley (1949) and That Girl (1966-1970). Name written in pencil
(unknown hand) beneath signature. Fine condition.
