SUPERMAN TV CAST

The famous actors sign their names on an envelope with a unique Superman stamp from Krypton Station, Metropolis, Illinois, in blue and black ink

Envelope signed: "Phyllis Coates/"Lois Lane" 50's" in black inkand "Jack Lanson/+/Jimmy Olsen" in blue ink. 6½x3¾. Back for More in 1994! June 10, 1994. Krypton Station. Metropolis, Ill. PHYLLIS COATES (1927-2023) starred in many B-movies of the 1950s, often westerns and science fiction. After playing Lois Lane in Superman and the Mole Men(1951), she was the first to play Lois in the TV series, The Adventures of Superman(1952). Her numerous TV guest appearances in later years included the role of Lois Lane's mother in the TV series Lois and Clark(1994). Coates shares the suspicion that TV Superman George Reeves was a murder victim, not a suicide. But she rejects the interpretation offered in the film Hollywoodland (2007). JACK EDWARD LARSON (1928-2015) played "Daily Planet" cub reporter Jimmy Olsen on the classic TV series The Adventures of Superman (1952-1958). So closely identified with the role that other acting jobs proved scarce, Larson found success in other aspects of film work. He produced or co-produced several movies, including The Paper Chase (1973), Urban Cowboy (1980) and Bright Lights, Big City (1988). Fine condition.
