Stand-up comedian Corbett Monica (1930-1998) made 18 appearances on The Ed Sullivan Showand was a frequent performer on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Monica also worked with Paul Anka, Nat King Cole, Sammy Davis, Jr., Lena Horne, Dean Martin, Liza Minnelli, and Jerry Vale and was a popular nightclub performer in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. His close association with Frank Sinatra and Joey Bishop made him a virtual member of the "Rat Pack" and led to his being cast as Larry Corbett (1963-1965) on The Joey Bishop Show. Monica also appeared in a number of TV series, including Get Smart, Love, American Style, and The Name of the Game as well as a made-for-TV movie, and two feature films, including 1984's Woody Allen film, Broadway Danny Rose, in which he played himself. Monica, whose date of birth is listed as 1922 in some sources and 1930 in others, died in 1998. Corners gently worn. Otherwise, fine condition.
