The two actors are shown together in a scene from the ABC television series F Troop.
Photograph signed: "Hi/Larry/Storch" and "Forrest/Tucker", B/w 10x8. F Troop, a western sitcom set at Fort Courage after the Civil War, was televised on ABC from 1965-1967. The show featured a group of bumbling cavalrymen and inept Indians. Larry Storch, born in New York, New York in 1923, is an American actor with over 200 TV shows and movies to his credit, but is best known for his role as Corporal Randolph Agarn on F Troop (1965-1967), a role that earned him an Emmy nomination in 1967. He began his career in vaudeville before moving to radio and television. His stint as a summer replacement host for Calvadade of Stars (1951-1952) led to his own variety show, The Larry Storch Show, in 1953. During WWII, Storch had served on a submarine with actor Tony Curtis and the two became fast friends, starring in eight films together and touring in the musical version of Some Like It Hot. In addition to his films, guest appearances on television and appearances in nightclubs, Storch found success as a voice artist on a number of cartoon series. He continues to act, with his latest acting credit as of this biography being 2005's Bittersweet Palace. Forrest Tucker (1919-1986), who made his film debut in The Westerner (1940), starred in a number of feature films, including My Sister Eileen (1942), The Yearling (1946), Sands of Iwo Jima (1949), The Quiet Gun (1957), Auntie Mame (1958) and The Night They Raided Minsky's (1968). Tucker is best known to TV viewers as crafty Sergeant O'Rourke on F Troop (1965-1966). He also starred in Dusty's Trail (1973) and Ghost Busters (1975) and appeared in made-for-TV movies and several series, including Bonanza and Little House on the Prairie. Lightly creased. Slightly worn at edges. Otherwise, fine condition.
